This was the far best hostel I've stayed in while we were away! It's $15 dollars a night with a free meal, Free internet and Free tea and coffee. The people who run it are always up for a laff and forever organising great nights out for the backpackers! Every Monday they have a Pub crawl known as Mad Monday which is $10 the 1st one you go to which gives you a Asylum t-shirt, Free dinner and 5 free drinks also lots of games and also chance to win trips scuba diving and free nights accomodation. Then it is $5 dollars everyone you intend to after as u already have your t-shirt. On Wednesday night is Ladies night free champagne for 2 hours in Rhino bar and Kareoke at My bar with free shots and free champagne. Friday nights is BBQ or Pizza night where you pay $5 dollars eat as much as you like. Just go stay there its just to good to miss!
Mad monday crew!

another thumbs up from me! the best hostel i've stayed at :) amazing staff, crazy people who are all friendly and willing to mingle, the awesome Mad Mondays, the fabulous location, the wallet-friendly prices.....
I could go on, ooo not to mention that when i was there they offered 10% or a free nights stay if you booked certain things through them- I got my dive course and greyhound tickets through them at a very good rate :)
they were fabulous and i hear there's a new sister branch in Sydney too

It's the cleanest hostel I've ever seen and Dawn, the owner cleans with her cleansing woman every day. It's a two story hostel, pretty small and the beds downstairs are no bunk beds. Only d...
waynehosek says: This wasn't necessarily a bad joint to crash at... but I'm not too sure what scale they use to get their "3 Star" rating.  Overall... the ammenities served their purpose... nothing was taken from my room and my rental did NOT get broken into in their covered parking garage (which is a goo...
Looking for a hostel that is large enough to meet new friends but small enough to get that 'personal touch', well..... JJ's Backpackers Hostel is a small hostel famous for it's friendly, helpful staff and relaxed chilled atmosphere. Choose to relax by our sparkling tropical pool, join in a game of p...
