Astor Hyde Park Hostel in London
Astor Hyde Park Hostel in London Reviews
May 30, 2006
We were really spoiled by our last hostel so this may be a bit biased.
First impression was that the lobby smelled like B.O. It was easy enough to find and the prices are reasonable. They provide a lock box service for valuables. The bathrooms are hall bathrooms and the rooms have a sink provided. We couldn't open the door to the balcony and the room was a bit warm at night. It was lacking a little in cleanliness. Not sure if I would stay here again, I would probably look around at other places before booking here again. Part of the Europe 2006 travel blog |

We stayed here a few years ago, and the location is great. The price was reasonable, too. Things may have changed, but here's the website: Astor Hyde Park Hostel.
However! Looking more closely at the website, things certainly have changed--they now don't accept people over 35? I doubt they can get away with that, and we were certainly older when we were there. |
