Crowne Plaza Astor New Orleans Sep 28, 2009
Location makes this hotel hard to beat! It’s conveniently located at the corner of Bourbon and Canal Street. Exit the hotel, make a right, take 10 steps then make another right and you’re on Bourbon Street! Awesome location! The hotel is also located near the Canal Shops. There's a great selection of upscale stores like Kenneth Cole, Saks, etc.
The menu is awesome! I particularly liked the batch of chocolate-dipped strawberries, the bottle of wine and the two glasses that I had delivered to my room after a night of partying on Bourbon Street! Very friendly and fast room service! The gym was pretty awesome for a hotel gym! There’s a good selection of free weights and lots of cable and aerobic machines. There’s a small outdoor swimming pool located next to the gym. It’s nice for laps.

There is a garage connected to the Astor, but on Iberville that charges half the price as what the Astor charges.
