Asti Guesthouse Valletta Reviews
Annie's quaint refuge in Valletta Mar 17, 2009
The building was part of a 350 year old monastary. It still has many of the beautiful details on the ground floor. It's amazing given the price you are paying. You meet Annie, the elderly lady who runs the guesthouse. She is like another mother. One morning I was late coming down for breakfast....needed to sleep in. She insisted I still have breakfast even though I was an hour past her breakfast hours....so sweet.
Ok, back to the review. There are many stairs and many floors. There are bathrooms spread across several floors so, you do not share with many people. I had a room on the top floor and the bath had 2 showers. I never had a problem getting use of the bathroom. I also always had hot water.
The room was generously sized. It could use fresh paint. There is a sink in the room and small counter. My room was on the top floor and had a balcony with a view us Ursula street....a interesting view.
Breakfast is included in the price and included a roll, cheese, tomato, jam, juice, and coffee or tea.
Itis a fantastic location and value for Valletta and central for transport for all of Malta.
