Asian Kitchen (Kuala Lumpur International Airport)
Asian Kitchen (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) Reviews
Last taste of home before you leave the country Sep 25, 2008
All the food seems good here ... it is pricey by Malaysian standard but you do get quality. Hygiene isn’t up to Western standards as there are some flies around. It does a roaring trade so the food should be always fresh.
Filled Croissant: Divine, lots of filling. Assam Laksa: Noodles in a hot and sour minced-fish soup. Not for the faint-hearted. I’ve had better but its not bad for someone who wants a touch of home before taking off. Prepare to sweat. Nasi Lemak: The Malaysian breakfast with coconut rice, curry, peanuts, anchovies, cucumber and sambal. Great ... about the same price as the one on Air Asia but much much better. Chicken Porridge (Congee): Didn’t try this but looked pretty amazing looking at other people’s bowls. In summary ... looking also at the food on other people’s plates/bowls (eg. kway teow soup), the food here seems consitently generous and tasty.
