This hotel is a bit off the main streets but it is a delightful place to stay, The rooms and public areas are decorated and furnished with dark lacquered, carved wood and inlaid mother of pearl.

The staff was very helpful to us in arranging s tour to Ha Long Bay, dealing with taxi drivers and giving advice about travel in the area.

The beds were clean and comfortable an the bathroom fully equipped, clean and well-maintained.

A good breakfast was served in a large dining room on the lobby level.

We paid about $29.00 per night in 2004. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it.
