Ashland Oregon is about 15 miles south of Medford on Hwy 5, or old hwy 99. It is world wide known for their on-going Shakespear Festival. There are several venues for Shakespearean Theater with same day tickets avail. at the town center kiosk. This is also a college town, so it is loaded with great restaurants, shops, art galleries and a wide variety of culture.
