Very cheap but good value for money. Clean rooms, free internet, free laundry, friendly staff and a small pool.
Located in the center of Bangkok. Skytrain is closeby so reaching other places is very easy :)  Part of the BANGKOK travel blog |

After staying at the New Joe Guesthouse, the Asha Guesthouse in Silom is like a paradise! For 175 bahts each we get a twin room with a fan and terrace. Will write more in the reviews about these places :) Tonight we will meet up with a Thai friend by the big malls… Bangkok, baby! |

Domestic flights into Bangkok go into the old airport which was actually a bonus for us as it is closer to our guesthouse. The weird thing about Bangkok is that it's such a backpacking mecca and yet most of the budget accomodation is seriously sub standard. Now we have come to the center of Bangkok and it feels like a totally different world :) Now staying at Asha Guesthouse which is very cheap as well but much better and cleaner than the earlier one. Food has been very good...tasting a lot of new spices, fruits and some other things I have no idea what they are.
