Great location in Krakow Jul 31, 2009
The Ascot Hotel in krakow was good value for your money. The location of the hotel was just great on a quiet street just a short walk to the main square and about the same distance to the train and bus station. So a great starting point for either visiting the city or taking the train to nearby Auschwitz or the bus to the salt mines in Wieliczka.
The room is not very big but certainly big enough; the same could be said about the well-stocked bathroom. There was free internet, also in the rooms. There was good breakfast selection. And certainly worth mentioning was the very pleasant and helpful staff.  Part of the Cities of Europe travel blog
