Arundel House Hotel Cambridge

Arundel House Hotel is a great choice if you ever want to stay in a lovely, cozy, friendly hotel in Cambridge. It is a former house that was turned into a hotel and the whole feel is very home-like and cozy. It is about 10 min walk from the Cambridge center and faces a great view to a very green and large park (see pictures). The view from our room was great. We had a big room , certainly big for European standards, nice bed and a very large bathroom.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and you really feel at home. You can see that the young ladies at the front desk work really hard to please you.

The restaurant was great ! You walk downstairs to be met by a friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere; you gotta try it. The breakfast included in the room price is absolutely amazing. Don't get the full English breakfast , because you will be completely full from just the continental. Fruits are fresh, the croisants , oh my goodness, the croisants were the best we had tried, they offered cereal, several cheeses, yogurt, pineapple , apple, orange and grapefruit fresh juices, bread, toast. You know I never thought that England would be the place but they have the best tastking dairy products I have tried - milk, butter, yogurt are just full of aromas and quite flavorfull.

Hotel was expensive, we paid $187 a night for double room. But it was worth every penny!
