The highlight of my week vacation at the North Shore was seeing turtles basking on the sand for the first time in my life!  I would see Honus (or Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles) swimming in the sea before, but never have I seen something amazing like this.  I never knew about Laniakai Beach and that there are turtles basking anywhere on O`ahu.  Laniakai Beach is also known as "Turtle Beach" and it is located somewhere between Hale`iwa and Waimea going along the Kamehameha highway.O...

I woke up early today because I wanted to be at the Marine Park and begin snorkeling before the sun rises to its scorching heat temperature. I took a quick breakfast, wrapped 2 slices of white bread, stuffed it in my backpack and walked northwards from Gaya Street to the Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal. I needed a ride to the airport. I asked my LT. SAL (sincitytraveler) to drop me off the airport. Since he worked nearby and he mentioned he needed a reason to wake up early to catch up on some work.  I AM THE REASON!!!!!  We also talked to have dinner as well. Another trip to the UK, albeit a short weekend stopover en route back to Dallas. I finally got to visit the Romanesque St.Albans, the green Hampstead Heath and most of all, the Notting Hill Carnival. All in all, enjoyable. Now bring on October!
