Tulsa is Alive with Art Deco Aug 31, 2014
I have to admit I was a bit taken a back at the beautiful buildings of Tulsa. The Art Deco style became a fad in the 1920's and 30's because of Tulsa's oil boom.

I decided to take myself on an architectural tour of downtown which is quite easy to do as the area is compact.

The accompanying pictures will show the variety of Art Deco styles that were built around the city. Tulsa is a sleepy city and as I drove around snapping pictures on a Sunday morning I had no issues with parking or people. I hope you enjoy the buildings as much as I do!
