Go to Greers Ferry (lake). I was born in AR, family still lives here so this is usally my summer spot. It never gets too cold or too hot. If you get the chance, go to Mountain View (northern AR, on HWY 5). Neat little town with old fashioned shops and such. You have to get the beans and cornbread, and some black walnut ice cream. Stick around on a saturday evening when the square fills with locals playing folk music and bluegrass.
