Ariston Hotel Milan Reviews
An affordable gem in Milan! Feb 11, 2012
I was surprised to arrive at what seemed like a 4 star hotel in Milan. I have stayed in some really bad ones for work so I was expecting the usual standard from a 3 star hotel in Milan. I was however, surprised to find that this hotel, recently refurbished had a bar, lounge area, lovely rooms with flat screen tv's and it was really clean with lovely obliging staff!
The staff would not have me carry my bags, as soon as I stepped inside a concierge was called to take them to my room. The reception staff were so friendly and would do their very best to help! The breakfast was really nice the next morning, they had a selection of cereals, cheese bread rolls and ham among other things. I have to say though if there were any guests that came about a half an hour before breakfast finished there was a limited amount left and it seemed that they didn't make extra. The hotel also do room service and have a menu on offer available from their bar although some of the food is frozen and heated, they do specify that on the menu. This hotel is great value for money and a real gem in Milan which is hard to find without paying a fortune! |

This hotel claims to be an eco - hotel. There are bicycles outside which are a handy way to get about. The hotel is expensive for what it is but it seems to me that all hotels in Milan are overprices. The breakfast is good tho - make sure to ask for a cappuchino
