We had a early start by getting up at 5am, as wonderful uncle Richard was driving us to the airport, which saved us a night of sleeping on the Terminal floor!!! Well, travelling from Billund Airport to Malling (which is just southof Aahrus) produced sights that we all won't forget.  We saw a numberof Horses and Cattle, wheat and cabbage fields, old churches (built inthe 1700's, every town seems to have one and of the same design), anda lot of green, wide, open spaces.  Not to mention the famouswindmills, and from a distance, the highest point in Denmark (amountain that really resembled more of a large hill).The days and the *nights* (sorry,...

This past summer, I had the opportunity to accompany a wonderful family of 5 (mom, dad, and 3 kids aged 6, 5 and 18 months) on vacation to Denmark to visit their great grandmother who is 93 years old. Its always a challenge but very rewarding in the end :-)
