Argonaut Hostel was a great place to stay.
It’s an Australian owned but (mostly) locally run hostel.
It has a very good mix of single, double and dorm rooms.
The people that work there are Great! Very friendly, extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, Karlos has also been known to take people out on the town.
They’ll tell you the ins and outs of the town and what to avoid as well…. As it is a place where you should have some smarts about you.
The hostel has heaps of travellers coming and going and a good portion of them are Australian.
Good kitchen and drinks for sale. The kitchen also has a fantastic free coffee machine!
God common room with free internet.
Very central location and close to bus and train station as well as a great spot in the old town.
Highly recommend it!
