After my 13 hours of flying I arrived in Rome to find people from my program waiting for the bus to Arezzo. I soon found out that instead of 100 people being in this program there were only about 30. I'm sure it will be a very different experience; very individualized. Many of the people on the programn are seasoned travelers through Europe, which is strange for me because, well, I have not traveled much at all. So, I am starting to feel a little better even though I couldnt fall asleep last night because of my stomach. I went to bed around 3 and I think I need to relearn how to go to sleep. But instead of staying in bed all morning feeling disgusting I went to class and felt gross. However, as my 9 AM movement class progressed I started to feel better. Spent a week (short!) in different parts of Italy, driving around, photographing and tasting some great wines. A beautiful country with friendly people and lots to see; Italy's not only Firenze, Rome and Milano - it's much more!

Arezzo is an old city, capital of the province of the same name, located in Tuscany. Arezzo is about 80 km (50 miles) south-east of Florence, at an elevation of 296 meters above sea level. Arezzo may have been one of the twelve most important Etruscan cities, the so-called Dodecapolis. Etruscan remains establish that the acropolis of San Cornelio, a small hill next to that of San Donatus, was occupied and fortified in the Etruscan period.
