Arepa Café Toronto Reviews
Venezuelan Arepas that also taste Colombian... Delicious Nov 08, 2010
I called: Great Venezuelan Arepas with a Colombian kick.
If you don't know what an Arepa is, an arepa is a dish made of ground corn dough or precooked corn flour popular in both Colombia and Venezuela. It is similar to the Mesoamerican tortilla and even more to the Salvadoran pupusa. Arepas can also be found in Panama and the Canary Islands.
Charming modern place located in the heart of Toronto.
It is not Expensive and it is not cheap either, I think it is very good for what you get.
Arepa+tropical Juice is about $10.
Please try the fry Yuca, it is fantastic.
Service was quick, place was bright and clean and the arepas were delicious. I went with a Venezuelan friend and as I am Colombian I can tell you that we both approved the place for all service, quality and Deliciousness. The owners were quite friendly and say hello, they were very please to know that we love their Arepas.
They are also in Facebook too for special events and news:
