Åre is a great place for those who love skiing or snowboarding. With almost 100 slopes and 40 lifts, there's something for everyone. Åre is also the only place in Scandinavia where you can actually skii all the way down the the town centre.

Åre is divided into Åre Björnen (for families with easier slopes, a true winter wonderland), Duved and Åre By (great night life and après-ski).

You can get here by car, cheap and flexible trains, bus or charterflights. If you're going skiing or boarding in Scandinavia, Åre is a must!
