Ardbeg Embassy Stockholm Reviews
Great food, beer and whisky Aug 15, 2012
In the restaurant and bar area of Gamla Stan in Stockholm you can find a quite special place named Ardbeg Embassy. Ardbeg Embassy is combination of a restaurant and a pub, specialized in good traditional Swedish food supported by the best of Swedish microbreweries and Scottish single malts. The bar has constantly 24 different Swedish beers on tap and a selection of more than 300 single malts.
I took a smoked reindeer heart served on a mustard drizzled pear bed with fresh herbs and I think it’s the first time that I had that dish. It tasted really well and it was a treat to start the meal in that way. I continued to drink beer to my next dish that was a middle steak with a piece of duck liver served with a potato pure and grilled vegetables and salad. This was yet a great dish and it went very well with the local Swedish beer that I had beer drinking during the whole meal.
I can certainly recommend this place both for the food, drinks and the ambiance.
