While attending a conference in Helsinki last summer, some friends and I decided to explore the nightlife of Helsinki. One thing we heard was the famouns icebar - and fortunately we found a place close by that offered it all: a restaurant (steak house), a nightclub, a disco, and the arctic icebar we were looking for. Actually we were there quite early so the place was almost empty (around 9 PM, but we didn't want to stay up that late). They charge an extra 10 € to enter the icebar, but a drink is included and they provide nice warm cape and gloves. Can't say much about the music as we were only there for an hour - it seems to be a good mix of 70's, 80's, and up-to-date.
