Paolo Arcosanti created an amazing area in Paradise Valley to sell ceramic and bronze chimes among other things to pay for a larger project. These chimes are quite amazing on their own. But the layout of the chimes across his property create an artistic and educational feel like an art museum, as well as showing you how they are made and explaining this project. The only difference is that people can buy every item shown.

To describe the project best, here is a quote from the webpage: "In 1970, the Cosanti Foundation began building Arcosanti, an experimental town in the high desert of Arizona, 70 miles north of metropolitan Phoenix. When complete, Arcosanti will house 5000 people, demonstrating ways to improve urban conditions and lessen our destructive impact on the earth. Its large, compact structures and large-scale solar greenhouses will occupy only 25 acres of a 4060 acre land preserve, keeping the natural countryside in close proximity to urban dwellers."

This place sounds pretty neat. Those crazy Italians architects...
