Archies Bunker Backpackers Napier Description
Napier's finest Backpackers Accommodation facility. Centrally located, ARCHIES BUNKER was the first of the Unornamented Style of Art Deco buildings to be constructed after the devastating earthquake of 1931. Built in 1938, it was used as the Automobile Association regional office for 60 years before being refurbished and it now features modern accommodation and facilities within this Art Deco style building. (No 34 in the Art Deco Guide book).
