Great location and average accomodations Nov 23, 2008
I booked this hotel due to its location, price, and it had okay ratings. It's in a fantastic spot in the square under the Charles Bridge on the castle side. It's a quaint spot. The hotel looked to be as well. But, it really wasn't, inside. The staff was fantastic, so very helpful. The room was a letdown. It wouldn't look out of place in a hostel. I wasn't expecting 4* or even 3* but, atleast a bit of character. The room was large and had interesting windows as this is a historic building. Its a shame to decorate so bland. Cost is no excuse. Design doesn't have to be expensive to be moving.The bath was large and clean. It was a high spot.
