Archbishop's Palace of Lima Reviews
Right next to the main Cathedral, this one shines like its knight in shining armour! Dec 06, 2013
Ever bought a combo ticket and wondered "ok, now how much farther do I need to walk to reach attraction #2?" Well that isn't a problem in this situation because the Archbishop's Palace is right next door to Lima's Cathedral!
This is a very interesting piece. You could get the historical facts from Wikipedia, but to me, it was a mansion cum museum and had some interesting artifacts. I loved the staircase! Rather, the main quadrangle + roof and the decorations in the ceiling.
The best part is that photography IS allowed, and even though this place isn't as picturesque as the Cathedral next door, I found more photogs here than there! There is a prayer room on the 1st floor which I thought was phenomenal!
