Arcadia Hotel Belmondo Hamburg Reviews
Central, Continental, Courteous Nov 25, 2009
Stayed for 2 nights on my 2nd trip of the year to Hamburg.
Very central location - 10 minutes on foot from der Hauptbahnhof, about 15 minutes from Berliner-Tor (the station just before the central station if one takes the metro from the airport). Had a room on the top floor, though there is no spectacular view - the motorway on one side, the railway lines and offices on the other. A very pleasant and fairly-spacious en-suite room with a power shower and an overpriced mini-bar (though that didn't stop me!). Excellent continental breakfast with freshly brewed coffee; a range of cheeses, breads and croissants; and plenty of scrambled egg! Very helpful, professional and courteous staff all fluent in English. |

Today started out more than just lazy. We slept until 1:30pm before we could finally get up and out on the Hamburgean streets. Our first stop was an Internet café not too far away, but it was quite a journey and adventure to get there as we did…… Paddleboat and Elbtunnel |
