We spent a day in Chinchón and on the way back to Madrid we stopped by Aranjuez. I was told that the Palacio Real & Gardens were awesome and I agree. The Palacio Real started as one of Felipe II's modest summer places! but hey, has more than 300 rooms :) It seems to be that it was inspired by Versailles. I didnt go inside so i have no idea how it is....But even more impressive are the gardens. They are very well conserved and I would recommed to you to spend an hour walking along the gar...

Some pics of our weekend-trip to Guadalajara, Chinchon, Aranjuez and Las Cruceras.

We started again at "Atocha" station, buying the tickets, but this time departing to Aranjuez. This town is most known for its royal palace. The palace is stunning, but unfortunately for me I didn't have enough time to enter it, as later on I would want to visit the Thyssen Museum.
