The Aran Islands are a group of three islands: the largest island is Inishmore, the middle and second-largest is Inishmaan and the third and the smallest Inisheer.
The Islands are located at the mouth of Galway Bay, on the west coast of Ireland. To get there, you can take a bus or drive to Rossaveal in the Connemara area of County Galway. From the docks in Rossaveal, there are ferries which go back and forth to and from the islands, about twice a day.
They are many points of interets on Inishmore, such as Dun Aonghasa,a prehistoric fort, which is located at the top of a cliff of 300 feet! You can also see the colony of seals of the Black fort and others fantastic things, not to mention the fresh air and fantastic scenery!
