Not-so arabic actually:) May 01, 2009
Trying to find something local in Doha when I came across the arabic looking small restaurant with a bunch of locals sat outside and having some meal of coffee.
There is one lady with a small stove with flat pan on top and she's making thin crepes filled with honey or chocolate (nutella) or cheese. There are other kind of food, but I can't figure out what they served as they closed the pan and I didn't dare to came nearer and ask them what's that.
The crepes is very much like other crepes, the only difference is when the normal crepes is flattened using a piece of stick, this one uses the hand of the lady to make it very thin and flat, and it serves the purpose!.
One crepe cost 4 QR (a bit more than 1 USD)
