Spa luxury in the center of Aix Aug 15, 2009 Value: Location: Cleanliness: Amenities: Bed: Bathroom & Shower: Service: Aquabella is a bland looking hotel as you drive up. You wouldn't expect the luxuries that you will find. The lobby is colorful modern in decor. The staff was very friendly and gsve tips to get around easily. The rooms are large and clean but, a little outdated. The bath is large and clean, also. I had a fantastic view of the Medieval Tower in Old Town.....fantastic! You've only minutes to many cafes, and restaurants. Also, close-by in the maze of narrow streets is great choice in little boutiques and interesting clothing stores. The pool is in a spectacular ancient / garden setting. There are spa treatments and a gym, also. The parking lot is security controlled. Aix-en-Provence is a gem of a town and Aquabells is a peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy some pampering. Probably the best hotel in Aix-en-Provence Aug 02, 2005 Value: Location: Cleanliness: Amenities: Bed: Bathroom & Shower: Excellent hotel! I went here with my sister and we really loved this place. It's located in the old center near La Rotonda and near the famous cours Mirabeau so the location can't be better. All the attractions are in walking distance. The hotel is really great. The rooms are spacious enough with a nice bathroom and air conditioning. The hotel has a nice restaurant and breakfast but the best things of the hotel are the pool in the very nice garden and the hot jacuzzi! We were relaxing here every day. And everything was very clean which isn't a standard in France. For everyone who doesn't speak french, the staff can speak English here!! So don't hesitate when you'll visit Aix, visit this very nice hotel. I'll definately go here again the next time i visit Aix!
