I'm leaving this evening!!!WOW! What a semester.A reflective update will ensue as soon as I set foot in my house. (because i'm sure my parents will be exhausted from picking me up at 1am and I will still be jetlagged)My dreams have already transistioned...I am no longer dreaming about SIT students, Samoa, Fiji and USP...I am not dreaming about airpots, GHS, Drew University, and family. I can not wait to see everyone!!

A quick trip to laze, in South Pacific,staying away from French Polynesia.

Small airport called Faleolo, early in the morning and already very humid! Staying with my partner's relatives  in apia. Lovely people. Toilet and shower (only cold water which is ok because it's too hot anyway) outside the house. They bought toilet paper especially for me; they use anything else. I've seen some newspapers lying around. The "kitchen" too. You cook because you have to eat but it's not a cosy "kitchen" where you wanna try out some 'haute cuisine'. People are pretty po…

Samoa was beautiful, Savaii was the best, lovely relaxed, beautiful people....Apia was good, Vailima Lodge was beautiful & lovely hosts which we couldnt have done without...amazing 1st time experience, that has made us want to go back yearly!!!

Land in Apia on Air New Zealand 60, leaving 7:45 pm, arriving 12:45 am (still on the 22nd because the International Date Line has been crossed).
