Meeting with TravBuddies Allan,Calvin, Sue and Mike!

Travelling to South Africa opened my eyes and broadened my mind, realizing it's not that hard to live a happy life, without all our western conveniences.

Travelling through India sparked my interest for geo politics and economics.
Profile
Hi! I'm Nicander (Nic) from Amsterdam, also known as Ape (How come? Don't ask, I won't tell you). As a joke my family gave me a toymonkey some years ago that I've been taking on my travels ever since. Travelmascottes forever!

I'm currently travelling for nine months in the Australasia region. After Australia and New Zealand from Hong Kong to Singapore.

My interest are travel, playing sports and partying. Sleeping is sweet as well. Going to the cinema, some reading and music, all good, all good.

I'm interested in geo politics and economics, photograhpy, event organizing and aviation. I also enjoy meeting up with like minded people, so if you're around, give me a shout!

Now, check this game out; tougher than the one above! Test your Geo intelligence, and post your IQ in the comments. Good luck!

India & Nepal, summer 2006
Jul 15, 2006
Just a month after my sportstrip in Australia, and two weeks before my 18th birthday, I made this magnificent trip through central India and Nepal. I found it difficult to create an image of this trip beforehand, so I went to India with an open mind, not sure what to expect. It turned out to be a trip to remember, full of culture, nature, history, heaps of people and extreme heats!
