  I started the day at Haydnhaus, followed by the Johann Strauss Apartment, then the Mozarthaus Museum, and finishing off at the Beethoven Pasqualatihaus.  The Haydn, Strauss & Beethoven ones were just apartments where they each lived for a while, with a random collection of pictures (often with no explanation as to how they related to the composer… classical music extravaganza (encore)

  We decided to buy the Classic Pass which included the Glorietta, Labryinth Garden, Apfel Struddel Demo, and Royal Apartments.  It was pretty crowded and everyone had a specific time frame that they were designated to go through the royal apartments.  We still had time before our entry time so we headed to the Glorietta in the garden first.  The back… Vienna

After that we came up to the palace and we bought tickets to the Silver collection, Sissy museum, and the Imperial Apartments which we were really excited for. To get to the Imperial Apartments (which is what we really wanted to see) you first go through the Silver collection and then through the Sissy Museum. We were looking forward to the sissy museum but not so much… Forks and plates coming out the ying-yang!

Finding a room in Vienna was a challenge let alone finding a cheap one and so we ended up booking an apartment for one night. To make matters worse the train to our next stop was leaving Vienna at 6am the next morning leaving us with an afternoon and evening to see all the sights that Vienna has to offer. We bought a 24hr transport pass… Whistlestop Vienna

Apartments ( Kaiserappartements ).   This turned out to be another interesting visit.   I was surprised to see that the Sisi museum is so dark ��" mostly painted a dark deep blue.   Again, her reality has little to do with the cinema version and the melancholy… Secession building, Karlsplatz, Hofburg and more
