I spent last summer in Barcelona and for the first week (the rest of the time I had a friend there to live with) I needed to stay in a Hotel.
The great mistake was to book a 4 stars Hotel called 'Catalonia Atenas' that I would never recommend (but that's another review). The next day I was in the Aparthotel Mariano Cubi (Marià Cubi in Català). I got a luxurious apartment with a King Size bed, a wonderful bathroom, a complete kitchen and a small living room with a fantastic sofa. The cleaning was fantastic, the service amazing and well, I only have good words for this Aparthotel. The location is also great. You can have a walk to the 'Sagrada Familia' and the 'Diagonal' and you have public transport to everywhere. If you are looking for a good Hotel, choose this one! |

This is a lovely little hotel located close to the beach just a few stops away on the metro. Also close to the town center were there are shops ranging from maissimo dutti to Zara and MANGO. Great buffet selection and there is free internet access...read entire review at TravelPost.com
