Apartamentos Europa Blanes Reviews
ApartmentsEuropa Dec 10, 2009
I went to Blanes, Spain, it was a work Holiday. I work with people with intellectual disabilities and every year we go on holiday. We staid at apartments Europe.
Because we were a group of 10 we stayed at two apartments for 8 days. Nice, clean apartments. Not to big though. We had 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. I, as supervisor staid on a couch... The couch could be transformed into a bed. Ofcourse this was not ideally, and if I was there on holiday on my own I would definitely found that irritating... But for this event it was quite ok. We had quite a big kitchen (i found it quite big) With al youre basics in it. The living area though was much smaller in compressing to the kitchen. It was fine for us because we didn’t stay that much in the apartment. Ofcourse there was a balcony, it was not to big not to small, we had a couple of chairs and a table.
The bathroom was nice. We had a bath, toilet, bidet and a big sink. One disturbing thing was the water.... We stayed as a group of 5 in one apartment.. We all had to shower every day. So when number 3 went, the temperature wasn’t as hot anymore... and when number 5 was heading to the shower the water would be kinda very cold...SO that was a thin that was not as fine as the rest of the apartment.
Both of the bedrooms were basic, two separat beds, a chair and a closet.
We didn’t get clean towels everyday we only got them twice! So that’s slightly less on the accommodation score.
We had a big pool with sunbeds you don’t have to rent (Not every apartment/hotel I’ve been to had that luxury!) The swimmingpool is enclosed by the apartments as the apartments are three buildings sepratly who are places in a form U. We saw some apartments who had there swimmingpool next to the road! Nice when you are laying down in your bikini and al the other tourists can watch you burn... . So a big plus on the swimming pool.
The service of the hotel is ok. They are there when you need them. I can’t say anything more about it...
The location is perfect. There is a small supermarket where you an by everything, also nearby is a local bakery. The beach i sonly a 5 minute walk and the bus stop is also a 5 minute walk.
Ofcourse we went sight-seeing, we would not get picked up at the bus stop but at other locations, we get fine directions and de pick-up places were easy to find. A big plus on the location. Walking is a good way to get around
Restaurants and places to eat, you’ll find them at every corner of the street, so getting something to eat is not a problem. Besides that there is a huge diversity in the costs of a nice diner. As a group of 10 (We would only eat a main course and a dessert) we sometimes paid a €150 and sometimes we would only pay €50.- That’s only €5.- a person!
And again a big plus on the location.
I think we got nice apartment for a nice price. Nothing to fancy but what to expect for only €200.- p.p.
