Anyone need answers about Turkey??? - Istanbul - General Tips & Advice Reviews

I have been living in Istanbul since October '07 and working here since November '07. Not that long, but I've made some good Turkish friends and know a few places. I traveled alot by public transportation around here and seen a few places on the way to the black sea. You might see me working one of the hostels this summer or hanging out at the local pubs and my best friend here owns one of the better established and known travel agencies in Turkey...

So I say with somewhat confidence, if you have any questions or want some advice about coming here then feel free to hit me up on here. I am not a dictionary or noted historian but answers are only a short stroll away from me and I can help you figure out quite a few things. I know some cheap places to eat in not so cheap areas, and a decent amount about accomodations, taxis, public transportation, safety, culture and working here.
