Antwerp in general means mostly café and bars. Good places to go out are, café d'anvers, café local, carré, the red & blue and so on. If you want a cowsy restaurant you should be at the 'Groenplaats', which is where the picture of the city is taken. For hotels, you don't have many here, the most well known is 'Hilton' I think. But there are other hotels to see. If you want to go shopping, you should go to 'de meir' and if you want to go to the harbor you should take 'tram 3'. I know there is very little mentioned in Antwerp from where you can go to which place in another language, so I'll tell you than. Well known is the 'Zoo', where all the animals live ofcourse and central station is also very known. Antwerp is also known for it's diamants and there is a whole area just for diamants, so if you want to buy your girlfriend something nice, come by.
