In 2005 me and my boyfriend went too the Antwerp Zoo.. because it was his birthday I gave the zoo as a present!! haha.. we had lots of fun..
But when he ate a hamburger which wasn't good.. he had too threw up all night!!! No more burgers for you.. The park is big.. lots of space to walk.. the animals whre also very kewl! Had a laugh with the little pinguins.. =) Stop by here when you are in the neighbourhood.. Also what very funny is is that the Zoo is build in the centre of the city.. so you see all new buildings around it.. and there you have the old Antwerp Zoo with his big steel doors.. Antwerp Zoo, or Antwerpen Dierentuin in Dutch is one of the nicest zoos I've ever been to. It's great fun for the whole family and centrally located right next to Antwerp central train station, so you won't miss it.
There has been a baby boom resently, so you will also get a change to see some adorable little animal babies :) If you have more than one day time to explore Antwerp, I would recommed a visit there.
