Antonio Restaurant Macau Reviews
Nice little Portuguese Restaurant in Taipa Feb 12, 2010
I enjoyed this restaurant and would like to eat here again. As I arrived right at noon, they actually opened the door for me. Shortly after being seated, they brought out a small bowl of olives and fresh, warm bread. I ordered the house red wine, which is surprisingly good and a cheese sampler to begin. The cheese appetizer includes 4 types of cheese, olives and crackers.
My main dish was a sort of sausage/pork stew; it was wonderful. Of course, I simply had to order a second glass of wine (and a bottle of water).
The staff were friendly and attentive. The dining room is very small (cozy) and the tables and chairs are somewhat rustic but it all fits. If you find yourself in Taipa for either lunch or dinner, you would do well to dine here.
