Antipolo Vacation Guide
The City of Antipolo is located in the northern half of Rizal Province and is approximately 29 kilometers from Manila.
Better known as the Pilgrimage Capital of the Philippines. It is the city of pilgrims and contemplatives, tourists and traders, artists and artisans.
The month of May is a fiesta in Antipolo were thousands of devotees especially those intending to travel abroad come to pay homage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage (Nuestra Señora dela Paz y Buenviaje) to ask for a safe voyage. It is also the month of the Sumakah Festival. Sumakah stands for "Suman, Kasoy (cashews) and Hamaka (hammock)" which the city is known for. Suman is a delicacy sweetened rice wrapped in coconut leaves, Cashews are also very native to the city, while hammocks were used to be a mode of transport when a make-shift hammock will be carried by two men, carrying the ladies who are seated on the hammocks.

2 years of intense relationship brought me here to Antipolo, where my bf is from, seeing the place he calls home to meet his parents and family.My bf also took me to Cloud Nine, a nice spot on top of the hill overlooking all of Metro Manila.
