I love travelling, meeting new people, discovering different cultures. I like to taste the local liquers in a country: brennivín in Iceland, pálinka in Hungary, rum in Cuba … :D
I think travelling is a little bit addictive. Whenever I get the chance I’m going. That doesn’t mean that I’m escaping something. I have a nice job and live in a great country. Most exciting thing is travelling without an itinerary, not knowing where I’m gone sleep at night. Travelling by local transportation is the way I like to travel: train, bus or boat. What I really like is to blend in, not being a tourist in a country.

No plane, but a train and the wind will take me to see French isles and the Channel islands. The island Sark is certainly enviroment friendly: cars are not allowed on this island. Locals travel by bike or horse and carriage. The famous writer Victor Hugo loved to recycle things. A door became a table. A clock was made into a cabinet etc.
