The days leading up to the cruise were spent in pure anticipation. Trust me...you could tell from my over-excited version of Smokey's song "Baby let's cruise, away from hereeeeee, my intermittent shouts of "YEAH BABY" while driving down the highway and the fact that my brain had shut down from "work" for about 2 weeks.

I took a much needed break this weekend and took the ferry over to our sister isle, Tobago. As usual, the sun sea and sand didnt disappoint ;)

My happiest journey has been on the road to self-discovery....a bumpy and adventurous ride no doubt. work in progress....:)

What do you get when you put a beachhouse, lots of food, a bunch of energetic teens and kids, a packed programme of activities and some youth leaders together? Carnival Camp!!!

After being travel-deprived for a few years and in spite of an approaching hurricane threat, I was totally ready to go on a cruise with Carnival Valor. The days leading up to the trip were filled with my over-excited version of Smokey's "Baby let's cruise".....inadvertent screams of YEAH BABY while driving and no work at the office. I couldn't concentrate lol.
