It’s so good to be back home, to meet again with family & friends, and enjoy the magnificent scenery around the lake of Annecy! This first morning of my visit I woke up early because of the jet lag so went for a little walk along the lake side and into the old city. It was a perfect morning and at this time of the day it was incredibly quiet. The light was amazing. I thought I should post some pictures from my hometown located in Haute-Savoie, in the French Alps. It is very close to Switzerland, only 40km from Geneva. I was there for the festive season and it was great to escape from the Western Australian heat for a few weeks, do a bit of skiing and enjoy a white Christmas!
