Anne Hostel Asakusabashi

Located in Asakusabashi, Anne Hostel is 5 blocks away from a JR line and the Toei Asakusa Line.

Cheap, clean and affordable rates for dorm rooms and its free breakfast was its selling point and my friend's recommendation.

Cons?

The common room is close between midnight and 7am - leaving the guests with nowhere to hang out, as the rooms were small and cramped. (This was what I found annoying the most!)

One outlet in the dorm room.

Female staff was not friendly.

Anne Hostel is a pretty spacious hostel with a homey feel. The staff is very friendly staff and familiar with place and attractions around Tokyo. They offer free breakfast in the lounge area (Great if you are traveling on a budget.) Breakfast time in the lounge is the best time to meet other people from the hostel as well. The bathroom and showers are pretty clean.
