The Anker Clock is a bridge connecting the two buildings of the former Anker Versicherung (today Helvetia, esigned by the Art Nouveau painter Franz von Matsch. It was built between 1911 and 1914. In the course of twelve hours twelve pairs of figures from the history of Vienna are running over the bridge. By 12 clock noon parading all figures in musical accompaniment. In the advent time carols resound at 17 and 18 o'clock.

The clock might have a problem with daylight saving time changes (the figure changing was not working in spring 2013 and is not working right now but the music is working)

Closest U-Bahn stations are Stefansplatz U 1, U 3 and Schwedenplatz U 1, U 4.
