Fashionable Tea House near the Louvre Museum Jan 03, 2007
This fashionable traditional French restaurant is actually a tea house. Reservations are not accepted for tea but otherwise I would recommend making them. Walking distance from The Louvre Museum it is an ideal place for that mid day lunch when touring the area.
The tables are topped in marble and the interior is lit with a honey glow from the chandeliers that highlight the many frescos and columns. The food itself was quite good with a variety of sandwiches, salads and desserts. While the tea was good, my favorite and one of their specialties is the single pot of hot chocolate, which like everything else comes on a silver tray.
