Angkor What ? Reviews
The place that rocked my Siem Reap vacation Apr 15, 2009
First of all it is easy to find. Right in the middle of Pub Street where all the touristy places are.
It is owned by an Euro-Indian who grew up in London, Charlie, who's the coolest guy in the world. The drinks were fair-priced and creative, the crowd was totally hip, there were no prostitutes and I would like to bet that 99% of the patrons are foreigners. The music was great, and did I mention that the crowd was hip?! It's a haven for the backpackers and young people to meet and mingle and everyone is friendly. Angkor What TF? Apr 14, 2009
located at a very accessible location. charlie, the owner of this bar is very nice and accommodating and has the most extensive music playlist i've ever heard. you can just request any song you want. drinks are relatively cheap, beer would cost at around 4usd per pitcher which is good for 4 people. cocktails in pitcher would start at around 5usd. buy two pitchers in one order and get 1 Angkor What? Bar shirt, very nice thing to bring back home!

Loads of fun and action at dirt cheap price ! Jan 06, 2009
Angkor What ? is one of the most happening night spots along the famous Pub Street in Siem Reap. It's usually packed - the frat house atmosphere is probably due to the mostly young crowd intent on having fun and getting stoned. "Angkor What ?" indeed ! The beer here is served in a plastic spittoon and you drink using straws. At the back people are dancing and jumping away. The energy is infectious.

We headed north 6 kilometers to the massive Angkor Archaeology Park, stopping to buy an entrance ticket for $20. Though it was one o'clock in the afternoon, I had to pay the full day rate.
I had inadvertently deleted all of the Siem Reap and Angkor Wat pictures this summer that… Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat |
