Before I moved to New York City from San Diego and sold my car, I decided to take a 2 week drive along Highway 1; starting from San Diego all the way up to the Oregon border and back down again (with a little sidetrip to Mexico included). The only rules of the trip: there would be no set agenda and I could stop whenever and wherever my heart so desired!

Washington, DC is a place that I have visited countless times, yet have never grown tired of. I love the political energy that just seems to flow through the air and which you cannot escape. And although the history is relatively young compared to the rest of the world, I still find it intruiging and I have included pictures of some of the historical monuments that I love to revisit.

This was the most significant trip of my life to date, as it was the trip that sparked my obsession with traveling. I have been consumed by the desire to travel ever since and it has now become a lifestyle. On this trip I worked in various Traditional Chinese Medicine hospitals throughout China to further my education, while doing some sightseeing in between. There are only pictures, as this trip was too long ago for me to make any insightful comments.
