The Indri heaven Apr 10, 2007
This park is also called Perinet Reserve, Andasibe Analamazaotra Special Reserve, and Mantadia National Park, and is located 150km east of Antananarivo.

It's most famous for the Indri, the worlds largest lemur, and the climate is cool and wet. It's also the resort of the illusive Aye-aye, the lemur famous for its thin and long middle finger, which is used to pull out larvae from the tree trunks. The leaf-tailed gecko is fascinatingly hard to spot.

The park is also known for the diversity of other lemurs, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.
