Touring An Ancient City May 31, 2011
Ancient City, though supposedly a tourist attraction, was unfortunately not flooded with much tourists while I was there. Although I enjoy touring without the onslaught of tourists, I found it unfortunate that not many people knew about Ancient City.

Ancient City, apparently a small replica of a city in Thailand, is extremely extremely large and there is probably no way to tour the whole place in one day by foot. I'd recommend hiring a tour guide even if you're not into tour guides because one would not understand the place unless brought around by a local. Several tour agencies in the heart of Bangkok will be able to bring you there for a tour. It is best not to show up directly at Ancient City and to try and get a tour.

Souvenirs here are cheap, cheaper than Bangkok city. If you're visiting Ancient City, prepare for some walking, stairs climbing, the heat, and bring lots of water.

Ideal for history buffs. Children may not be particularly interested.

Fascinating historical park of Siam culture about an hour out of Bangkok City by taxi. This appears to be an unknown attraction by the lack of tourists there. Hiring a golf buggy is a must as it's set on 320 acres
